About Darksnow

DarkSnow is a simple GUI for darkice, written using GTK2, by Rafael Diniz, under GPLv2.

Source Code download

- 05/21/2006 - version 0.6.1
Changes:
Added MP2 format option (needs darkice >= 0.17).
Other small changes.

- 11/04/2005 - version 0.6
Changes:
Added AAC format option (needs darkice >= 0.16).
Changed the way that darksnow gets the darkice output (now it uses fifo).
Fixed a memory leak and some minor improvements done.

Old Version

Compiling Darksnow

$ tar -zxvf darksnow-x.y.tar.gz
$ cd darksnow-x.y
$ ./configure --prefix=/usr
$ make
# make install

Dyne:bolic

Starting at Dyne:bolic version 2.5.2, Darksnow is included in standard distribution.
